Roles

A new feature that was implemented just before this module was released was the ability to block content from mobile users based on role.

Previously certain content was limited purely by the accessibility module with the override settings. Now, however, it is possible to additionally limit content based on the users role.

This feature requires the taxonomy_access module enabled. If this module is available, then you can create a mobile user role. The accessibility module will then override the default roles for a browser and limit the content accordingly.

Create a new role called mobi and configure access as you wish. If the role doesn't exist then the accessibility module just treats the mobile user as a [1] anonymous user.

However, if the role exists the [1] anonymous user role is removed and the user becomes [#] mobi, with # being the role number.

Note that when logged in as User 1 roles are not affected so some of the access conditions applied to the mobi role are overridden. This feature works in both releases of the accessibility module.
