Install the accessibility module as detailed in the installation instructions and go to administer > settings > accessibility. There are four sets of options that you can configure to suit your needs.
text/html. This is particularly useful for the admin pages and any other parts of the site that may include any JavaScript or DHTML that doesn't work when the content type is set to application/xhtml+xml. For users browsing with hand-held devices these pages are forbidden and relevant error messages are sent. See roles for more detailstext/html. This option is here because of the extreme nature of the application/xhtml+xml content type. Note that mobile users content will still be sent using the detected content typehtmlcorrector module and attempts to close HTML tags in accordance with XHTML standards.paging.module. You will need ensure that this input format is allowed. Currently I use <br class="mobi">. Also check that this input doesn't break your HTML code *See the help page in the admin section for more details.
